Ansar English Secondary School, Valavannur was established in 1985. The school is Managed by Ansar Arabic College Committee under the parent organisation Ansarullah Sangham., a socio religious cultural organisation founded by a few religiouse reformers for the amelioration of Muslim community in and around Valavannur. Ansar English Secondary school twigged as a Pre-Primary School and bloomed to a full-fledged Secondary School in 2006.
Ansar English secondary School is the first and the only Exclusive English medium School in and around valavannur. The school founded by eminent educationists is pursuing excellence in education though the global language. The school has obtained recognition from the Government of kerala. It is also an examination centre for its own students to write SSLC Examination. The School has introduced Montessori classes for the pre primary students, providing an environment of child friendly classes.
